Jewelry estimated at Rs 1.6 million was stolen from a house located in Palma, Quatre Bornes, yesterday morning, according to information provided by the police.
An individual armed with a knife broke into the house and surprised a 26-year-old man in his room. Under the threat of the weapon, the thous forced him to give him money and jewelry.
The suspect left with chains, rings, bracelets and gold earrings, as well as a bottle of whiskey, before fleeing through the stairs of the house.
He is actively wanted by the police.
