La Langouste Grisee is a great restaurant offering stylish ambience and a good dining experience. Located on Royal Road in Grand Baie, La Langouste Grisee provide delicious sea food and in a pleasing atmosphere with a garden and a pond and charming interiors.
You can relax in the enchanting setting of a luxuriant tropical garden and enjoy delicious world cuisine served to perfection at La Langouste Grisée. Having a candle light dinner on the table arranged besides the lovely swimming pool creates the setting for a dreamy evening ending with a memorable meal. The pool on the premises of La Langouste Grisée is a decorative feature meant to enhance the landscape but swimming is prohibited in the pool.  On a week night the mood is easy and laid back. You can find couples engrossed in private conversation at the candle lit tables and a number of regulars leaning against the bar. On Friday and Saturday nights you have to book your table in advance.
The restaurant also has an exhaustive wine list to go with the cuisine. La Langouste Grisée has the most beautiful wine cellar among all the hotels in Mauritius. You will find some very rare wines here, like Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc, the South-African Palladius or the Cognac Courvoisier.
But it’s the food itself that you should really go for. The menu is wonderfully varied and is influenced by Mauritian culture over the ages.  Their specialties include prawn cocktail which is absolutely delicious and the filet de boeuf with tagliatelle. It is a lovely place for lobster and meat lovers.
If you want to enjoy the wonderful hospitality and the excellent food you have to spend a bit more. You would be spending about Mauritian Rs 1, 200 per guest for a meal including a starter, a main course and a dessert. Prices for drinks are similar to those usually charged in A grade restaurants. After all everything depends on your choice, prices for wine may vary between Rs 1, 500 and Rs 150, 000.
Restaurant is open from 12:00pm to 2:30 pm and 7:00pm to 10:30 pm (up to 11:30pm on Saturday & Sunday)
